Rhel'a is a man of two worlds. On the stage he is confident, graceful and demanding of attention and respect, as a courtesan he can be dominant and controlling, though always in a manner his patron wishes of him. When outside of performing however, he is shy and anxious, even struggling to talk to people sometimes. His performances feel false to him, a persona he plays, and he struggles to know how much is the real him.

Backstory

Rhel'a was a shy boy growing up, something he always struggled with. Raised very traditionally, he was too meek to act as a hunter, had no real gift for the arcane, struggled to tell plants apart, couldn't handle leather nor lumber; as a teen he found himself without a path to walk. His devotion to love, being a big fan of romance novels, was the only thing that he felt called to, perhaps a priest of Menphina was the way for him. However, a dancer he passed noted grace in his movements and offered to teach him the way of performing. Rhel was shy, but soon found that it melted away when he was on a stage, and so he pursued it with a single-minded enjoyment.He learned to sing, to dance as many styles as he could. As he began to perform professionally, he was offered jobs at venues, and soon enough found himself learning the role of a courtesan, how to spread love through companionship, be it simple conversation or hedonism. Ever traditional, Rhel'a pursued showing the world his love of love, yet soon felt the split between his stage persona and who he was beyond his performances.

Current Events

Now Rhel'a travels around seeking new methods of dance and new means to perform for people, yet the shy man he is off stage remains, and he's torn between which one is his truer self, trying slowly to reconcile the two different sides of the coin he is.

On the Stage: His most steady source of income is as a stage performer, so that's the easiest and most likely place to run into him.Courtesan: If you wish for his services, be they companionship or more, then he is generally open to it, so long as he's in his performer's mindset.Dancing: He's always seeking more types of dancing to learn and master.Keeper: He's very proud of his heritage and culture, and is easily involved in most aspects of Keeper life.A quiet boy with muscles: He's often found sitting with a book, quietly reading, or simply watching the crowd; why is such a soft, quiet looking boy so built?Worship: He's an avid follower and worshiper of Menphina, specifically.

OOCly you can call me Sarto.I’m from the UK, so I usually keep EU times, but I also work shifts, including nights, so sometimes my timezone is a bit fucky.
